Vice President, Patient Care Services A member of the Hopkins Bayview team since 1997, Maria Koszalka is responsible for the Medical Center's clinical departments and much of Bayview's patient care staff. Prior to her career at Hopkins Bayview, Dr. Koszalka was an independent consultant and management trainer for health care organizations in the New York area. She was also director of Education and Training at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, and the associate hospital director/chief nurse executive at the Medical Center's Jack D. Weiler Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Among her current responsibilities, Dr. Koszalka is also part of the adjunct faculty at The Johns Hopkins University. She lectures on nursing leadership and patient care administration and serves as an advisor on continuing education program for nursing management.
