Biography

Laura Hall is a Clinical Dietitian Specialist I at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. For the past 3 years she has been working primarily as a dietitian on the inpatient Surgery unit. She visits some of the patients during their admission for bariatric surgery and also conducts nutrition assessments and provides education to patients after surgery. She is available to visit patients and answer nutrition-related questions during a patient's hospital stay. With a passion for nutrition and helping people, she is dedicated to working with patients to achieve a healthy weight loss after surgery.

Laura graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She went on to complete a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management, which provided information, skills, resource materials, and tools for comprehensive weight management care. Laura is also a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, which is a professional credential from the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Science.
