Biography

Patricia E. Jordan, a nurse practitioner at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bariatric
Surgery, earned a nursing degree at the College of Notre Dame. She also earned
a masters in clinical nursing education and a masters in nursing, with a specialty in adult primary care and women's health at the University of Maryland.

Pat has served on the nursing faculty at the University of Maryland and 
currently is an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins University School of
Nursing. Assisting in the creation of the first nursing journal for bariatrics, the
Journal for Bariatric Nursing and Surgical Patient Care, she has continued as a
member of the journal editorial board.

As a certified nurse practitioner at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bariatric 
Surgery, she provides clinical support to the surgical team.
