Biography Anne O. Lidor, M.D., MPH, assistant professor of surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, earned a medical degree from New York Medical College and completed a general surgical residency at George Washington University Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and earned a masters in public health at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. With interests in new techniques in minimally-invasive surgery and clinical outcomes of surgery, Dr. Lidor's operative expertise includes laparoscopic roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic gastric banding. The team at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bariatric Surgery has successfully completed over 2500 bariatric procedures. She also maintains an active general surgery practice at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she focuses on minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgery. Dr. Lidor is an active member in the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. |
