Biography
Nisha Chandra-Strobos, M.D., chief of cardiology at Johns Hopkins Bayview, completed medical housestaff training and a fellowship in cardiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She also serves as professor of medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Chandra Strobos specializes in cardiac critical care, CPR research, and women's health and care delivery. Her clinical interests include difficult second opinion patients, premature CAD treatment and diagnosis, and pregnancy with heart disease.
An acclaimed teacher and master clinician, Dr. Chandra-Strobos was an inaugural member of the Miller-Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence in 2009. She was the previous chair of the American Heart Association's National Basic Life Support Sub-Committee, and remains active in the organization. She has published over 230 peer-reviewed chapters, papers and abstracts.
