Outpatient Chemical Dependence Unit

The Outpatient Chemical Dependence Unit is a three- to five-day morning program that provides a safe medical detoxification from opiates and alcohol in a warm atmosphere.

In addition to the medical detoxification component, participants are educated on addiction, ways to prevent relapse, goal-setting, coping strategies, nutrition and other topics. They also are guided in making appropriate follow-up plans prior to discharge. Bus tokens and a daily snack are provided each day.

The unit is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most insurances are accepted.

For more information or to schedule an appointment or consultation, please call 410-550-1258 or 410-550-1132.
