 A courteous welcome by the registration staff allows you to feel comfortable during your first visit with the clinical dermatology staff at Hopkins Bayview. Interpreters are available for patients who are hearing impaired or do not speak English.
Patient registrars initiate and maintain a relationship with the patient. They review each patient's insurance information and collect demographic data.
Scheduling/Referral Information
To schedule an appointment, call 410-550-0504, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Referrals are needed for all HMO or POS insurance carriers. No appointments will be scheduled without a referral (where applicable). PPO insurance carriers do not need a referral in order to schedule an appointment. Referrals may be faxed to 410-550-1232. Upon receipt of a referral, you will be contacted by a patient registrar to schedule an appointment. Consults requested by a physician may not be faxed. Please contact the dermatologist on call via pager at 410-434-1146.
