The clinical experiences and didactic program provide the core educational competencies for entry level dietetic practice and have been designed for the supervised experience required to sit for the Commission on Dietetics Registration Exam for Dietitians. The full-time program accepts a maximum of twelve interns annually.

The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Dietetic Internship Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, Illinois 60606-6995, 1-800-877-1600, ext. 5400.

The philosophy of the program is to provide educational opportunities for excellence in dietetic training. The program is designed to provide unique opportunities for a variety of experiences in clinical nutrition, community nutrition and food service management, and is expertly guided by highly qualified dietetics professionals in an environment dedicated to excellence in research, health care and education.

Expenses

Tuition for the internship is $6500, payable in two installments during the year. A $3000 deposit of the program fee shall be paid by June 1, preceding the start of the internship. The remaining $3500 shall be due no later than July 15. All fees are non-refundable and subject to change.
