One resident then is accepted every six months to participate in the Emergency Physician Assistant Residency Program. Application and interview deadlines are rolling. For March Position Application deadline: October 15 Interviews: October 15 through November 15 Residency begins the first week of March For September Position Application deadline: April 15 Interviews: April 15 through May 15 Residency begins the first week of September
During the final six months of the residency program, the resident also will function as a mentor to junior residents. - Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification (by start of residency)
- Maryland state licensure/eligible
- Three letters of recommendation (if employed, one letter from current supervising attending physician; if in school, one letter from faculty member)
- GPA of 3.0 or better in PA school
