The Emergency Medicine Residency Program for physician assistants is a 18-month residency program that includes training in ATLS and Emergency Ultrasound. In addition to the scheduled rotations, emergency medicine and specialty-specific conferences to support learning are scheduled weekly. Conferences are coordinated and conducted by clinical professionals and colleagues from emergency medicine and specified specialty areas. Rotations include the following: - Emergency Department (9 months)

- Vacation (Thanksgiving and Winter Holidays) (3 weeks)
PA residents will spend most of their time at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, with the exception of pediatrics and ophthalmology. The pediatric rotation will be held at Howard County General Hospital, and part of the ophthalmology rotation will be held at the Wilmer Eye Emergency Department at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. |
