Information for Patients

Driving Directions

Johns Hopkins Bayview is located on the eastern edge of Baltimore city, only minutes from the Baltimore County line.

From points South (including BWI Airport):
Take I-295 north to the Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895). After exiting the tunnel, take exit 12, Lombard Street. At the first stop light, proceed straight onto Bayview Boulevard.
or
Take I-95 through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue). Turn left onto Eastern Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.

From points North and East:
Take I-95 south to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue). Turn right onto Eastern Avenue (west) and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.
or
Take I-895 south to exit 12, Lombard Street. At the first stop light, turn right onto Bayview Boulevard.

Once on campus:
Follow campus signage to the East garage and park. Patients also may be dropped off at the blue awning entrance directly across from the East garage.

From the garage, enter the Medical Center via the blue awning entrance (directly across the street). Go the security desk to obtain a patient/visitor pass.

The cardiology clinic is located in the Bayview Medical Office (BMO) just ahead of the security desk. Follow the corridor and look for signs directing you to the clinic.

Billing Information

When you review your bill you will notice two separate charges. One is the facility fee; the other is our professional fee. This might be different from previous billings in which both fees were combined into one.
 

Prescription Refills

Please allow us 48 hours to refill your prescriptions. We would prefer that your pharmacy fax us the refill request (410-550-6864). You also may leave us a voicemail at 410-550-8374.
 

Lab Tests

All of your lab tests will be reviewed by your physician. If you would like to review the results with your doctor, please make a follow-up appointment (410-550-4906). If your tests are abnormal, the nurse or your physician will call you to review the results and ask you to make a return appointment.
 

Medical Records

If you would like a copy of your medical record, please send us a written statement requesting your records. The letter may be faxed to us at 410-550-6864. Your records will be sent to you within two weeks.
