He interned at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, and served in the United States Public Health Service in Arizona. Dr. Kern completed a residency in internal medicine, and a chief residency, at Baltimore City Hospitals (now Johns Hopkins Bayview) in 1979. | | | |
