The Harrison Medical Library is located on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus and is open to Hopkins faculty and staff. Five library staff members provide services including participation on clinical rounds, presentations to community groups, individual and self-paced instruction opportunities, mediated literature searches, and maintenance of hospital archives.

Library Informationist Internship

The library also offers a Library Informationist internship. The next internship opportunity will begin in the fall of 2012. The internship will be a 16-hour/week, paid position. Prospective candidates should be students currently enrolled in a library sciences graduate program who have an interest in medical librarianship. Recent graduates of a library sciences Masters program will also be considered.

Community Health Library

Patients and families are encouraged to use the Community Health Library when visiting the hospital.
