February 16, 2007 The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center announces the appointment of Heidi Minken as director of development. In this role, Minken is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of fund-raising efforts for the Medical Center. Minken comes to Johns Hopkins Bayview from Mercy Medical Center where she served as senior development officer with a focus on the capital campaign for the Replacement Hospital at Mercy. Prior to that role, she was director of development and was responsible for enhancing Mercy's fund-raising program, developing corporate partnerships and strengthening relationships with fund-raising volunteers. Minken graduated from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY, with a bachelor of arts degree. She also earned a master's degree in fine arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. |
