Congratulations to Alexander Nodel, M.D., RVT, RDMS, who was appointed director of the non-invasive vascular laboratory. In this role, Nodel will oversee the daily operations of the lab; provide guidance and consultation to vascular technologists; and maintain the accreditation of the lab.
Nodel is a registered medical sonographer and registered vascular technologist with more than 25 years of experience in ultrasound. Prior to his promotion, he served as lead vascular technologist at Johns Hopkins Bayview and in the Johns Hopkins Vein Center.
Nodel received his medical degree from Samarkand State University Medical School in Samarkand, USSR, and completed a residency in general radiology at Penza State University Medical Center in Penza, USSR. He also has received certificates in ultrasound from the Burwin Institute in Lunenburg, Canada, and diagnostic medical sonography from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
