(February 14, 2005) Congratulations to Pamela Ouyang, M.D., a member of the Division of Cardiology, who was recently promoted to professor of medicine. Dr. Ouyang currently serves as program director for Bayview's General Clinical Research Center (GCRC). Her research focuses on ischemic heart disease. In addition, she is the principal investigator for an NIH-funded study to determine the relationship between endogenous sex hormones and subclinical atherosclerosis. At Bayview, her clinical work focuses on patients in the coronary care unit.
