"Seeds of Hope," a Bereavement Service Provided by Johns Hopkins Bayview

February 9, 2007

"Seeds of Hope" is a bereavement service provided by the palliative care program at Johns Hopkins Bayview. Monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Care Center conference room in the John R. Burton Pavilion.

Many people have questions after the death of a loved one. They want to know "How long will I feel this way?" and, "Is there a right way to grieve?" Seeds of Hope will offer some answers. The program is a safe and welcoming environment to learn about the emotions and questions associated with grief and loss.

Seeds of Hope is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the mid-campus lot near the Care Center.

For more information, or to register, call Jane Schindler, LCSW-C, at 410-550-0291 or Tom Baker, M. Div., at 410-550-7569.
