Annabelle Rodriguez, M.D., assistant professor of endocrinology for The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and physician within Johns Hopkins Bayview's endocrinology department, is a recipient of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund’s 2007 Clinical Scientist Award in Translational Research.
This program supports established independent physician-scientists who are dedicated to translational research—the two-way transfer between work at the laboratory bench and patient care. The award provides Rodriguez $750,000 over a five-year period for her work on Scavenger Receptor B1 (SRB1) and infertility.
