Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine recently welcomed Mohamad E. Allaf, M.D., to the department of urology at Johns Hopkins Bayview.
Dr. Allaf earned a degree in biomedical engineering, as well as a medical degree, at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a residency in urological surgery at The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
With strong clinical interests in the treatment of kidney, prostate and testicular cancer, Dr. Allaf specializes in the minimally-invasive treatment of these diseases with laparoscopic and non-surgical ablative techniques. He has authored several publications and received numerous awards regarding research and clinical work in the fields of laparoscopic and minimally-invasive surgery.
