Charles Reuland, MHS, Sc.D., has been appointed vice president of clinical operations for Johns Hopkins Bayview. Dr. Reuland previously served as administrator for the department of medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital for eight years.
Dr. Reuland began his Hopkins career as an administrative resident at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center from 1990-1991. He was then recruited as manager of social work and patient relations at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 1993, Dr. Reuland assumed the role of assistant administrator for the department of surgery and, two years later, became the director of managed care contracting in the office of managed care for Johns Hopkins Medicine.
