Congratulations to Thomas Reifsnyder, M.D., chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery, who received the 2007 Keith D. Lillemoe Faculty Teaching Award. The award is bestowed annually by surgical residents on a Johns Hopkins surgeon for outstanding teaching skills. The residents presented the award at their graduation on June 23.
Dr. Reifsnyder is the second Johns Hopkins Bayview-based recipient of this award. Thomas Magnuson, M.D., chief of the Division of General Surgery, was last year's recipient.
The department of surgery is proud of Dr. Reifsnyder's devotion to resident teaching and pleased that he has been recognized in this manner.
