Mohamad Allaf, M.D., has been appointed director of minimally-invasive and laparoscopic surgery in the department of urology at Johns Hopkins Bayview.
After earning a medical degree at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2000, Dr. Allaf completed a residency in urological surgery at The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Allaf's areas of interest include kidney cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and the minimally-invasive management of each. He has authored several articles and chapters for numerous medical journals, including the Journal of Urology and Urologic Oncology.
