The American Red Cross of Central Maryland recently recognized Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as a patron of the Save the Day Program. The program is a local campaign that supports essential Red Cross disaster relief services for victims of fires, floods and other disasters in Central Maryland. Johns Hopkins Bayview’s support, along with other corporate and foundation sponsors, helped the Red Cross assist nearly 3,000 disaster victims in our community this year.
Red Cross Executive Director Frank Miller presented the Medical Center with a special citation in November. "Your support alleviated distress for our neighbors in times of crisis," he said.
