Biography

  Catherine Cansino, M.D., MPH, instructor of obstetrics and gynecology at The
  Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, is committed to providing
  comprehensive reproductive health services. She believes in empowering
  women by emphasizing the role of preventive medicine and exploring both
  medical and surgical treatment options.

  In addition to maintaining a clinical practice, Dr. Cansino is dedicated to 
  medical and resident education and clinical research. Her research interests 
  include postpartum contraception, second-trimester medical abortion and 
  post-abortion care in developing countries.

  Dr. Cansino earned a medical degree at the University of Toledo. She 
  completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Johns Hopkins
  University School of Medicine. She currently is pursuing further specialized
  training in family planning.
