Biography

  Robert Gutman, M.D. has dedicated his career to the evaluation and treatment
  of pelvic floor disorders. He prides himself on thorough assessment, accurate
  diagnosis and comprehensive counseling, and provides guidance while 
  encouraging active patient participation in treatment decisions.
  
  In addition to maintaining a busy clinical practice, Dr. Gutman is committed to 
  furthering the knowledge and understanding of pelvic floor disorders through
  education and research. He has received numerous teaching awards and has 
  been recognized for excellence in research. 
  
  Dr. Gutman oversees and supports numerous investigations evaluating surgical
  outcomes, non-surgical outcomes, anatomy/physiology and epidemiology. He
  has several publications and book chapters, and has presented his research at
  the American Urogynecologic Society and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons 
  annual meetings. He also serves as a mentor for obstetrics and gynecology 
  residents and junior faculty training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive
  surgery.
