Infertility and Endocrinology

Infertility is defined as unprotected, regular intercourse for one year without becoming pregnant. There are many diagnostic tools available to help identify the source(s) of infertility, some of which are very simple and can be done on your own.

Clinical infertility and endocrinology services are offered at Johns Hopkins Bayview, as well as Johns Hopkins at White Marsh. Specialists will provide you with information about the evaluation of hormonal disturbances affecting reproduction, then work with you to decide what options (surgical or non-surgical) are best for you. Services include fertility drug therapies and treatment for endometrosis, as well as fibroid and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Counseling and educational sessions also are available, as well as more extensive testing and care when needed.
