Biography
Roxanne Jamshidi, M.D., is dedicated to providing thorough and personal care for her patients. She provides guidance and encourages active patient participation in treatment decisions. She has received advanced training in family planning and maintains a general OB/GYN practice.
In addition to her busy clinical practice, Dr. Jamshidi is committed to furthering the knowledge and understanding of family planning through education and research. She oversees and supports clinical research related to family planning and contraception. She also serves as a mentor for nurse practitioner students, obstetrics and gynecology residents, and junior faculty training in general obstetrics and gynecology, and family planning.
Dr. Jamshidi earned a medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a residency at Women and Infants Hospital (Brown University) and a fellowship in family planning at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
