Biography

Mary E. (Betty) Sauter, CRNP, earned undergraduate and master's degrees in nursing at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She completed specialized nurse practitioner training at the University of Maryland. Her clinical interests include womens' health care needs throughout the life span, with a focus on family planning, general gynecology and menopausal issues. Her research interests include abnormal pap smears and HPV infections.

Sauter is a certified women's health care nurse practitioner and adult nurse practitioner.
