Spine Treatment

Johns Hopkins Bayview leads the region in all-inclusive spinal care. While most medical facilities focus primarily on either minimally invasive procedures or major reconstructive surgery, surgeons at Johns Hopkins Bayview offer expertise in the entire realm of spinal treatment—from nagging back pain to major trauma. The Medical Center also features state-of-the art diagnostic tools and surgical equipment, some of which have been developed by our own physicians. With such resources and personnel, surgeons are able to skillfully address back problems that cannot be treated at other area spine facilities.

Specialized treatment is available for:

The department also features dedicated operating room and nursing staff, and a nurse practitioner who works solely with spinal patients.
