Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program

The ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, established in 2002, has consistently played an integral role in the promotion of pharmacy services, expansion of clinical programs, interdisciplinary collaboration for the patients, the Health System and the Johns Hopkins Bayview community. The program has expanded over the years and has developed strong professional relationships with the Department of Pharmacy at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and Notre Dame University School of Pharmacy.

The Pharmacy Residency Program focuses on patient care, education and research, which are hallmarks of the mission shared by Johns Hopkins Medicine. The program has received national recognition from ASHP, with an expansion grant to further grow an already successful program. Residents have graduated and become leaders in the profession of pharmacy across the country.
