Outpatient Rehabilitation

Outpatient rehab therapy provides a full complement of services for individuals with a need to improve function for their daily life. Occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists work together to provide comprehensive treatment. We treat a wide-range of debility from illness or injury. Specialties include:

• Burn rehabilitation
• Chronic pain therapy
• Stroke treatment
• Hand therapy
• Orthopedic therapy
• Neurological and headache therapy
• Myositis rehabilitation
• Pediatric therapy
• Sports medicine rehabilitation
• Dizziness or balance treatment  (vestibular)
• Women's health therapy (incontinence and pelvic pain)
• Swallowing therapy
• Lymphedema therapy
• Osteoarthritis rehabilitation
• Oncology care for post-surgery or post-radiation/chemotherapy

Make An Appointment

• Call or schedule an appointment with your primary care physician to write a referral/consult for physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy.
• Some specialty clinics (orthopedics, neurology) may be able to write a referral/consult without seeing your primary care physician depending on your insurance.
• Fax the referral to 410-550-1390 or hand deliver to the outpatient rehab department.
• Once the referral is submitted, the referral coordinator in our department will contact the patient’s insurance company to get authorization or verify benefits.
• Once the authorization is approved and/or benefits are verified the patient will then be contacted by phone to schedule an appointment.
