Milner, M.D., FACS, professor of plastic surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, director of the Johns Hopkins Burn Center and surgical director of the Johns Hopkins Wound Center, is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. After earning medical and dental degrees at the University of London, he completed a residency in general surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Milner also served in the British Army as a lieutenant colonel during Operation Desert Storm. Subesequently, he undertook research at the Chemical and Biological Defence Establishment in Porton Down, England. Before joining Johns Hopkins, Milner completed a residency in plastic surgery, as well as a fellowship in burn research, at the Shriners' Burn Institute in Galeston. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Milner has written over 70 publications and is founding editor of the Journal of Burns and Wounds. |
