The outpatient MRSA clinic at the Johns Hopkins Wound Healing Center will provide care to referred patients who have multiple courses of recurrent cellulitis or abscesses. Consultation is provided for:
- Facial abscesses or cellulitis
- Abscesses adjacent to the genital tract
- Mastitis in women
- Abscesses overlying a joint or the spine
- Presence of prosthetic heart valve or joint
- Patients on dialysis
- Patients with long-term intravascular lines
- Patients on systemic immunosuppressants
